Finished Cupcakes!
They look fantastic!! Well done everyone! I'm really impressed with your efforts!
I'll have to bring in my camera next week to take a better photo. This was taken on my phone.

Cupcakes
Today we drew cupcakes. This activity was a real hit with the students. The boys especially were keen to continue working on them and wanted to continue rather than eat their lunch! Must be good!
We drew a series of cupcakes, and coloured and shaded them using oil pastels. We did a few so that the students could refine their skills and improve their shading.
Again, I can't wait to see them all finished and up on display.
Idea from here.
Here are some pics of their first attempts as well as their final attempt (some of which are yet to be completed).

Funny line drawings
The kids all have various ideas on what they think these look like. Some have said legs in long striped socks, some have thought they look like tree roots. I think they are a bit Seussical if you ask me. I got the idea from Art with Mr E. I can't wait to see the finished pictures!
